Try out a few HT sessions
Start with a nervous system + neuroscience education foundation to build safety and awareness, then we move into client-led sessions that weave together plant-based connection + integration.
Dynamic mind-body retraining
Using a bottom-up (body-to-brain) approach we strengthen interoception skills and more, which builds self-trust, supports emotional regulation, and helps rewire neural patterns shaped by stress and/or complex trauma.
Slow + steady growth
Recalibrating + honoring our mind-body system is a slow process, and yet because of this, it offers up a stronger foundation for us to build our lives upon. Eventually we crave + savor this slow, steady, gentle growth!

horticultural therapy

Backed by scientific research, this healing modality has been proven to sooth the nervous system (calming threat/survival responses), provide optimal sensory enviroments for mind-body healing (naturally designed signals of safety to sooth the vagus nerve and reduce inflammation), reduce stress (lower cortisol levels) and improve overall well-being. In essence, nature is a tuning-fork that provides naturally occuring medicine for the mind, body and soul by just engaging with it mindfully - one just needs to learn how listen and enjoy presence.

Bad respond
I work, grow, and explore on the traditional territory of the Kumeyaay Nation, now known as San Diego, CA. I am deeply grateful to the First Nations for their stewardship of this land, where I have the privilege to work and learn. I recognize my responsibility to care for the land and its natural resources; including acknowledging that biophilia and HT is certainly not a new practice for Indigenous peoples.
